Most of you probably do not know that he was an artist. He attended the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD)which is a highly regarded school. I was also attending school in Providence RI at the time. RISD was right down the hill over looking the Providence river. He came a couple of years after we graduated HS as I recall. I welcomed him to RI and showed him around the first few weeks. I do not know what his specialty was. Does anyone else?
I remember his Mother had a Halloween party once - bobbing for apples in cold water - I got wet but no apple. He was my line mate in football - right tackle - big and strong. Maybe that is why Harry gained so many yards using Mark's blocks. I also wrestled with him. I was in his weight class. He out weighed me by 30 lbs and I could never beat him. Boy he was good.
Nice, Bruce. I too remember Mark as being both very strong and a lot of fun. One day in wrestling practice I got him so mad he literally picked me up and threw me against the wall. A good friend - Mark.
