There’s more sad news. Kay McKemy Dugan passed away on March 19, after a sudden surprise diagnosis of congestive heart failure. Cathy Quinn was the bearer of the bad tidings. They saw each other quite often for two women who lived 900 miles apart.

I will always remember Kay for her wit, her love of laughter and dogs, and her low tolerance for meanness. She will be much missed.
