I have looked forward to our 40th reunion for a long time. I just knew it was going to happen. I've also looked forward to seeing everyone that could possibly make it. Of course I can't wait to see everyone, but there were special people I was hoping would be there. One of them was "Rocky". I have alot of memories of my time spent with her and so sad that I won't be able to see her. Although, as I am sure it has happened to alot of us, we lost touch with each other when we left P'ville high school and moved on to our new lives. But I often think about everyone whether we were close or not. Rocky, you were a special person in my life. You will be dearly missed.
Love you girl,
Chris (Porter) Orser

Truly a shock to hear about Rocky's passing. I was so looking forward to seeing her again in October. We were good friends from 7th grade on. We became friends when she was still in catholic school in Pleasantville, throughout high school and kept in touch until about 3 years ago through email. Our last visit was in the mid 1990's when she came to visit us in Florida with her two doggies, which were like her kids. I heard through a mutual friend that she had been sick for about 3 years and that her Dad was at her side the last few months. Services and her funeral will be in Boca Raton next week. Dolly O'Shea (class of '70), who lives near there, and I will be attending.

Rocky, I will miss your laugh, smile and friendship so. Love you!
CHRIS

Another loss for the class of '69. I'm remembering how great it was to connect with Rocky at several of our past reunions, her beautiful smile and quick laugh. I'm glad Chris and Dolly will be able to get to her memorial service in Florida. Many blessings, Roxanne. You gave a lot to this world.

MOST OF MY HAPPIEST HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIES INCLUDED HER.SHE WAS A REALLY GOOD FRIEND.WE SHARED A LOT OF INTERESTS WORKING IN THE SAME FIELD.ROCKY, I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU FONDLY. BURT

I too am looking forward to our 40th reunion. Rocky will be sorely missed. She was always fun to be with. I have fond memories of Zinny, Rocky and me cavorting together.

Roxanne was different. I can remember joking with her in detention - she was hard to ignore. She took the edge off a lot of things that seemed important at the time.

My best memories of Roxanne or Rocky was the both of us waiting to go to Art Class, leaning against the lockers. She always wore mostly black and black eye liner in school. I noticed that when she leaned up against the locker she would move her feet so that the toes pointed to each other, and her heals down and out, the complete opposite of a ballet stance. I tried it and yes it did hold you from sliding down the locker, but I walked pigeon toed afterwards. We had a good laugh about that one!
She would say outrageous things, and laugh and that smile of hers.
I do not think there was anyone she did not like. A true angel, and a little devil in black all at the same time.
I will miss her even more, especially now because of the Reunion I was looking forward to that smile.

She left a hole in this world and a little hole in each of our hearts, and of the ones who were blessed to have had her in their life.

Keep shining Roxanne, we all loved you!
